Report: Military IDs to lose majority of Social Security number | theleafchronicle.com | The Leaf Chronicle: "According to an American Forces Press Service report, military IDs will soon be reconfigured without the cardholder's full Social Security number.

The Department of Defense is making the change to combat identity theft, the report indicated."
